The 3 pieces, produced by Coming Soon (the feature film “Distances” and the shorts “The Dress” and “Cunetas”) will be screened in the next edition of the Fic-Cat Film Festival, which will take place from June 4th to 10th in Roda de Berà.
The film has won 3 awards: the Golden Biznaga for the best Spanish Film, Silver Biznaga for the best director for Elena Trapé, and the Silver Biznaga for Best Actress for Alexandra Jiménez (ex aequo with Valeria Bertuccelli, for “The Queen of Fear”).
“Distances” premiered last April 17th at the Malaga Film Festival, with good recpeption from both the press and the audience.
The film will be part of the Official Section of the Festival, which will take place from April 13 to 22. After its premiere in Malaga, the film will hit the screens next fall at the hands of Sherlock Films.
The short film directed by David Gonzàlez will be part of the program of the Mecal Festival in Barcelona.
The short film directed by Pau Teixidor will compete in the next edition of the awards, which will be held on January 28 in Barcelona.
“Role”, directed by Hammudi Al-Rahmoun Font, was awarded with 3 prizes: Best National Short Film, Best Screenplay, and a special mention for its protagonist, actress Alba José.
On March 21st ended the filming of Distances, the second feature film of director Elena Trapé. The film, starring Alexandra Jiménez, Miki Esparbé, Isak Férriz, Bruno Sevilla and Maria Ribera, was entirely shot in Berlin.
